About the instructor Tessa: Hey there! My name is Tessa. I grew up in the mountains of a small Colorado town called Manitou, where climbing rocks and trees was my favorite game. These days, I climb poles, hoops, and ropes with that same sense of adventure. When I discovered fire dancing, I was dazzled by its glow, but I also quickly realized the risks it carried to performers and their bodies. I began to see how the techniques that kept me strong and safe in aerial could also help fire performers move with more resilience. In my classes, I love weaving together strength, creativity, and play so students can explore movement with both joy and confidence.
